Helen Dunlap Newton, a Nortonville native and JCN graduate, will discuss her books, Do You Hear What I Hear? and Night of the Amber Moon. She now lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Quilt Exhibit
We will have a display of historic quilts during our normal hours in the Edmonds Chapel. Our plan is to display our historic quilts as well as quilts from local families.

Jefferson County Authors Recognized
Emily LeRette writes about young adult fantasy and has published six books in her series called “Tempest Rising”.
Billy E. Hill is a former Kansas Game Warden wrote a book “Protecting Kansas Wildlife.”
Karl Ramberg has been a stone mason and carver for almost 40 years. He has written and published a book, “Stone Diary: Confession of a Hard Hewer,” which tells of his life in stone carving. Included in his book he mentions, Keith Middlemas, a stone mason from Oskaloosa.
