Jefferson County Historical Society is pleased that our very own volunteer was the winner of the Kansas Museums Association Volunteer of the Year for 2023.  Leanne greatly deserves this award.  Over the last 17 years she was has assisted with multiple items for us and Old Jefferson Town.  To name a few:

• 2024 President

• Previous Board Positions & as a Community Rep.

• Curates many of our displays

• Regularly Opens and Closes Buildings

• Cleans Buildings especially the Church before and after weddings
